Alina Habba told Newsmax on Tuesday that as the campaign for former President Donald Trump draws to a close, “it’s just been a real honor to be [with him] on this journey.”
Habba started as Trump’s attorney in 2021 and has since become a fixture in his campaign now serving as a legal spokesman for the former president and a senior advisor. In the past year, Trump has been hit with four separate criminal indictments. Habba said that “no person should have to endure that kind of persecution.”
“And their [the Democrats] plan has frankly, backfired in their face. They thought they were going to tear him down. They thought they were going to stop him, jail him, and people have attempted to kill him. But President Trump is truly the definition of resilience and strength,” Habba said during an appearance on “American Agenda.”
Habba added that despite the “raids and indictments” she knew Trump would persevere. “I knew we'd get out on the other side of it because they were witch hunts. Never did I think that we would be dealing with all of that. But now we've put that aside and on top of it, we're winning. And I'm so proud to work for such a resilient, amazing person. Truly, America needs him,” she concluded.
