Despite candidates jockeying for attention in tomorrow's presidential debate, former President Donald Trump's presence still looms large, senior adviser to the Trump 2024 campaign Jason Miller told Newsmax on Tuesday.
Shortly before Miller's appearance, The Hill obtained a memo from Fox News indicating that Trump's surrogates would not receive credentials to enter the "spin room."
The spin room is a sectioned-off area where those with credentials can immerse themselves in the chaotic mass of reporters and presidential candidates and their representatives, and ask questions.
Nevertheless, Miller tells "American Agenda," detractors "cannot stop the Trump train. President Trump's allies will be at the debate tomorrow evening. [They] will be in the spin room afterwards."
"A lot of the media outlets," Miller adds, are "much more friendly than what we're seeing from the host whether it be Newsmax or CNN, or MSNBC, [they're] all treating the Trump campaign much better than the host of tomorrow evening.
"But I want to make sure that people realize we're going to have some really big hitters who are in that spin room: Don [Trump] Jr., Kim Guilfoyle, Kari Lake, [Florida Republican Rep.] Byron Donalds, [Georgia Republican Rep.] Marjorie Taylor Greene, [Florida Republican Rep.] Matt Gaetz, [Florida Republican Rep.] Mike Waltz, [Florida Republican Rep.] Carlos Giménez, [South Carolina Republican Rep.] Russell Fry.
"All of our surrogates — all of our allies who are going to be there tomorrow night — are bigger and more impactful than any of the candidates actually debating."
The first 2024 Republican primary debate slated for Wednesday precedes the booking of Trump on Thursday in Georgia's Fulton County jail. While details of the booking are still relatively unknown, the president is expected to have a mugshot taken.
