Hulk Hogan: 'America Will Win Again!'

By    |   Thursday, 18 July 2024 11:17 PM EDT

Taking to the stage at the Republican National Convention on Thursday amid chants of "USA! USA! USA!" Hulk Hogan stormed the convention like a triumphant return to WrestleMania.

"And no matter the odds, he always finds a way to win. And when he's back in our White House, America is going to start winning again!" he said of former President Donald Trump, the Republican Party's nominee for the presidency.

Well, let me tell you something, brother. When I came here tonight, there was so much energy in this room, I felt maybe I was in Madison Square Garden getting ready to win another world title," Hogan said.

His speech was filled with enthusiasm and support for Trump, whom he described as a "real American hero" and a "gladiator." He drew parallels between his legendary wrestling career and Trump's political battles, stating, "The energy was so crazy, it felt like maybe I was going to press that no-good stinky giant over my head and slam him through the mat."

Hogan's message was clear: He believes in Trump's ability to lead the nation and restore its greatness.

"At the end of the day, with our leader up there, my hero, that gladiator, we're going to bring America back together. One real American at a time," Hogan said. He envisioned a future where all Trump supporters would be known as "Trumpites," rallying behind the former president for a prosperous America.

"When I look out there and I see Donald Trump, I think about how his business was compromised. But what happened last week when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next president of the United States, enough was enough," he said.

He called for "Trump mania" to "run wild" and said Trump has "always been the biggest patriot. And he still is."

"I've squared off against warriors, savages, and even body slammed giants in the middle of the ring. But let me tell you something, brother. Donald Trump is the toughest of them all."

Hogan painted a stark contrast between the U.S. during the Trump administration and the current state of the country, lamenting the loss of a thriving economy, strong borders, and safe streets.

"The only person who can clean this up is Donald Trump," he said.

"This November, guys, we can save the American dream for everyone. And Donald Trump is the president who will get the job done."

He issued a final war cry to Trump's adversaries, shouting: "What you gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trump maniacs run wild on you, brother?"
