Rep. Jordan to Newsmax: Dems After Musk Instead of Spending

By    |   Tuesday, 11 February 2025 06:08 PM EST

House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, pointed out to Newsmax on Tuesday that Democrats seem more preoccupied with Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency than with the reckless spending they're exposing.

The Democrats "position is instead of stopping the stupid spending, we're going to attack the guy who exposed the stupid spending," Jordan told "The Chris Salcedo Show."

Musk, Jordan added, pointed out that the government is wasting tax dollars on programs such as Iraqi Sesame Street, transgender comedians in Ireland, among others, "and so what do they do? They go after the guy who is just bringing out common sense things that we should … do and not spend money in these ridiculous ways, so they can keep doing it. I think most Americans think, 'I kind of like what Elon Musk is doing.' And I certainly do."
