Joe DiGenova to Newsmax: Trump Gag Order Should Be Suspended

By    |   Monday, 09 December 2024 05:03 PM EST

Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova told Newsmax he was "shocked" to hear the Supreme Court not lift the gag order on President-elect Donald Trump.

"I must say, I was shocked when I heard the Supreme Court do that, diGenova told "American Agenda" on Monday. "There is no legitimate reason to continue a gag order on the incoming president of the United States. And my guess is, is that the president is going to say whatever he wants to say at any time."

On Monday, the Supreme Court denied Trump's application to lift the gag order imposed by New York Judge Juan Merchan.
