Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. told Newsmax Friday, that we must come together and be unified as a country.
Tuberville recently proposed legislation that would codify President Donald Trump's executive orders to get rid of diversity, equity and inclusion programs into law.
"We got to quit dividing the country no matter what it's in, whether it's education, military, business, anything that had happened in our country in the last four years," Tuberville said on "American Agenda." "The Democrats want to divide the country into not believing in the country we live in now."
The senator said we need to draw the line on what kids are taught and "what our military is taught, how they're trained, anything to do with any kind of organization or country has to be brought back to America first. Believe in our country, believe in the Constitution, come together.
"I don't care who you are. Black, white, red, green. It doesn't make any difference. The Democrats want to divide us, but Donald Trump wants to bring us all back together."
Tuberville said things like social justice, DEI and critical race theory only cause more division in the country.
