University Donors: You've Made a Mess, Clean It Up

For a brief moment the western world was stunned and shocked following the barbaric slaughter in Israel on Oct. 7.

It stood behind Israel, sharing its grief.

Then Israel began responding to the atrocities with all the justified fury and righteous might of a nation, yet somehow Hamas terrorists went from being medieval butchers who needed to be brought to justice to the wretched oppressed who were only striking out against their oppressors.

As if on cue, radical left-adherent students in America’s premier universities took to their campuses, the streets, and everywhere that would have them, to mindlessly protest in support of the rapists, kidnappers, and baby killers of Hamas.

Let’s be frank.

Virulent antisemitism has been present on these campuses and Ivy League institutions for decades, but it was always masked: "You can’t join our country club," "You won't be accepted into this sorority," etc. It was never the genocidal, Kristallnacht variety of hatred, and oppressive, violent discrimination.

While it's as obvious as common sense can be and since no one else seems to be putting it to you straight, this cowboy is going to.

Today’s students chant, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," most likely not knowing what river or sea they are chanting about since they don’t teach geography in schools anymore.

On these campuses antisemitism has slithered like a snake out of the fevered swamp of hatred where it has resided for far too long, making its way out into the light.

But who allowed it to reside there?

For the last few weeks, many wealthy donors, and graduates from Harvard, UPENN’s Wharton School of Business and the like have been shaken and shocked by what has happened at their alma matters that they once attended and were handsomely supporting.

In outraged protest they have withdrawn their millions of dollars, and angrily and defiantly quit the boards they served on.

Big talkers.

These outraged donors are nothing but accessories before-the-fact to this vile cultural crime manifested by the useful idiots known as students.

In the last 20 years with the advent of the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divest and Sanction movement (BDS) on campuses, which seeks to isolate Israel economically, the scourge of antisemitism has been laying just beneath the surface.

And the BDS advocates always said they weren’t antisemitic just anti-Israel.

A distinction without a difference.

Here's the message for these outraged individuals quitting these boards.

This just didn’t happen overnight. It's been going on right under your noses --- for years.

Now all of a sudden you have seen what all your money has funded, and you’re suddenly outraged?

Bully for you. You're a tad late to the outrage party.

Where was your voice when the antisemitic, anti-Israel BDS movement spread through college campuses pushed by Marxist faculties that you funded?

In a quote attributed to Karl Marx’s prize pupil Vladmir Lenin, "When it comes time to hang the capitalists, they will vie with each other for the rope contract."

He was talking about you.

While it's as obvious as common sense can be, since no one else seems to be putting it to you straight, this cowboy is going to.

You made the mess.

Stay and clean it up!

Don’t walk out now.

Pulling your funding and quitting the boards of these universities is nothing more than virtue signaling.

It's the coward’s way out.

Don’t you get how much more powerful it would be if you stayed, demanding the dismantling of the ivory tower Ivy league brick by brick and restoring these institutions to their original mission: training the next generation of leaders?

You should be demanding these schools return to a traditional liberal arts education that teaches students to think and reason, not chant phrases, and hold their breath till they get their way like spoiled children.

You should demand that all the useless diversity deans be fired.

You should demand rigorous curriculum that includes the basics like teaching western civilization again and dumping all the ethnic studies departments.

And that's just the start.

You need to stay and clean up the mess you've made.

I wish I could say that the discrimination would end there when we’ve rooted out college antisemitism, but I can’t stop there.

The time to fix the problems at every level is now. Now.

You owe some apologies to other persecuted communities as well.

Did you complain when the "Defund the Police" movement swept campuses and the streets and the cities turned into crime infested war zones where decent people can’t walk the streets without fear?

No.

You funded and helped elect the incompetents who became governors, mayors, and district attorneys and are responsible for this chaos so long as you could live in a sky-touching penthouse or leafy suburb and where you were immune, while doing nothing.

You should apologize to the ordinary hard-working Americans who you allowed to be labeled as racists by funding the race baiters of Black Lives Matter (BLM).

You should apologize to every youthful female who has been forced to compete against biological males crushing the dreams they have worked so hard to achieve all because you didn’t stand up and say no.

You should apologize to all the parents who had to do their best to raise these students in the hyper-sexualized world you've allowed to be created.

Did you tell BLM that you and or your company would not be blackmailed with phony charges of racism?

No.

You paid them tribute enriching an army of grifters who stole the money to live in luxury while the urban centers they claimed to care about continued imploding.

You have an opportunity with your newfound outrage. Fix it.

You can help lead a new movement to restore the values that built this nation.

You can be the adults this society desperately needs to once and for all, say no to the "everyone gets a trophy" generation and tell them they will have to earn their place in the world.

There is no free lunch.

You have much to atone for, but you also have much more to offer.

Just saddle up and do the work.

Get started. You're going to be busy.
