In a sweeping move to reshape U.S. foreign policy, President Donald Trump has ordered a 90-day freeze on foreign aid disbursements, initiating a comprehensive review of existing programs.

Signed on Jan. 20, the executive order, titled "Reevaluating and Realigning United States Foreign Aid," seeks to align foreign assistance with the administration's "America First" agenda. This decision has already sent ripples through the international community, with Colombia becoming the first nation to feel its immediate impact.
