Trump Tariffs Risky for Tennessee Whiskey, Autos

As President Donald Trump again makes tariffs his favored foreign policy tool, two Tennessee industries could pay a disproportionately higher price — alcohol and autos.

During the first Trump administration, all Tennessee-made exports experienced sizable declines — by 50% in China, 33% in Europe just in 2018 alone.
