Trump Tweets Support for GOP Rep. Fischer in Neb. Primary

President Donald Trump on Tuesday urged Nebraska voters to go to the polls for incumbent Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Neb., in the GOP primary in a deep-red state that will be closely watched in November for any blue-wave challenge.

Fischer is heavily favored to win re-election in November.

But according to CNN, Democrats believe the favorite to win the party's primary Tuesday, Jane Raybould, could make the November race competitive, or at least deplete GOP resources in other states where it needs to win to keep the Senate majority.
