Former President Donald Trump continued his strong run in southern and southwestern states on Tuesday night, winning Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
Meanwhile, Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris earned victories in Democrat strongholds Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia.
Decision Desk HQ and Newsmax declared Trump and Harris the winners in their respective states. The total of 73 electoral votes gained by Trump, including 30 in Florida, gave him a 105-31 lead over Harris, who picked up 28 electoral votes. A total of 270 is needed to clinch the presidency.
