Vance: Russia and Ukraine Must Talk Directly to End War

Vice President JD Vance said on Wednesday the Trump administration wanted Russia and Ukraine to agree on some guidelines for talking to each other directly, which Vance said would be necessary to end the war.

Vance said the United States viewed the concessions that Russia had sought as too much, but he said he was not that pessimistic about the chances for ending the conflict.
