Senate Votes to End Govt Shutdown Both Fail Again

The government shutdown forced by Senate Democrats failure to back the House-passed continuing resolution to fund the government will go another day after a paid of votes failed.

The Senate's votes on House GOP CR (54-45) and the counter Democrat bill both fell well short of the votes needed for passage in the Senate on Wednesday.
