President Donald Trump's first few months in office represent a conservative tour de force, wreaking havoc on the Marxist and Maoist machinery.

Maximizing his executive authority, Trump installed a loyal War Cabinet, Pete Hegseth at the Defense, Marco Rubio at State, Tom Homan at the Border, Pam Bondi at Justice, Robert Kennedy Jr. at HHS, even a new anti-IRS Commissioner of the IRS, Billy Long. Tigers all.

And we've witnessed the bunker-busting of everything from declaring a border emergency, to the vast cost cutting impact of DOGE, to eliminating Planned Parenthood funding, to pulling out of WHO, to shutting down USAID, to forcing European nations to up their investment in NATO, and much, much more.

The icing on the cake is the beginning of the next phase of Trump's "Operation Overwhelm:" Legislation. The One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) as promised, was signed on Independence Day.

Treacherously, over many years, communist-leaning Democrat politicians, their bureaucratic appointees and DEI hiring policies, all but ensured the rank and file, work-a-day government employee secretly carried the water of a quiet Bolshevik revolution into everything government touches, including secularizing and sexualizing education, socializing medicine, censorship of communications, politization of federal law enforcement, suffocating corporate regulations, ballooning entitlement programs, etc.

The OBBB is the first step in starving that communist ideology sucking America's life-blood like a cluster of economic leaches. And the Hippies are losing their collective mind, demanding revolution not be so silent anymore.

The role of government in the domestic affairs of a free people is to make it hard for bad people to do bad things. Scripture says, "Rulers [government] are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil …" (Rom. 13:3).

But one of the most destructive things bad people can do is infiltrate government and make it easy for bad people to do bad things and harder, even illegal, for good people to do good things. The ultimate result of legalized lawlessness is the destruction of civilized order, weakening the population physically, morally and economically.

Economically, think about the rampant financial waste, fraud and abuse recently uncovered by DOGE.

Morally, think about the systematic sexual abuse of children through LGBTQ curriculum in schools, undermining the basic unit of society, the family, with same-sex marriage, human trafficking, and ubiquitous porn use.

Physically, think about America's declining fertility rate coupled with ballooning abortion rates.

The Democrats are the party of Vice Voters, encouraging America to binge on moral cotton candy.

The OBBB is a legislative sunrise dawning on the rule of law, melting the glacial encroachment of Marxism. And while government cannot make America moral again, there are a few things that can be done to make it harder for bad people to do bad things, the pebble of President Trump's influence rippling indefinitely into the pond of America's future.

Five critical next legislative steps to safeguard America's future include the following:

  1. Unmuzzle America's moral voice by passing the Free Speech Fairness Act, repealing the Johnson Amendment — The IRS recently settled on a dourt case in which they "agreed to view endorsement of political candidates from the pulpit as private matters" not punishable by the IRS. But the Johnson Amendment still hangs like a sword of Damocles over the heads of Christian leaders, churches, and nonprofits, waiting to let fall by a future Democratic administration. Repealing the Johnson Amendment would safeguard moral speech from censorship and punishment by future atheistic communists in Democrats' clothes.
  2. Protect the religious liberty and speech of peaceful pro-lifers from government persecution by passing Congressman Chip Roy's FACE Act Repeal Act. He accurately states that FACE has been weaponized by pro-abortion politicians to indict and imprison Christian pro-lifers. Unless repealed, this unconstitutional abuse will certainly resume under future Democratic administrations.
  3. Clarify the personhood of all people with a Personhood Clarification Act — Given the constant barrage of bioethical debate on the use of medical technology, safeguarding all people under the law behooves the legislature to define personhood with respect to the Constitution. Personhood is all-inclusive, extending to all individual humans from fertilization to natural death irrespective of disability, disease or disorder.
  4. Mandate that the role of medical knowledge and technology must only be used for the purposes of protecting and healing. Pass a Human Dignity and Purpose of Medicine Act declaring that human dignity is derived from God, not government, Who makes each person inherently valuable. Therefore, medicine must never be used to mutilate, kill or hasten the demise of a human through egregious breaches in medical ethics such as experimental vaccines, transgender hormone therapies or surgery, euthanasia, physician Assisted Suicide, the unregulated production and sale of human embryos via IVF, the destruction of preborn boys and girls through abortion, etc.
  5. Safeguard America's children and public from the morally devasting dissemination of pornography on the internet. Pass Sen. Mike Lee's Internet Obscenity Definition Act and add to it a clause outlawing the Objectification of Humans, reasserting that because of the inestimable value of each human, none ought ever be objectified, stolen, trafficked or otherwise exploited for pleasure or financial gain, and shall be determined to always involve duress while recognizing that when such loss occurs it affects the entire family, current and future, and shall be, not only criminally, but civilly actionable.
