U.S. President Donald Trump's administration plans to rescind Biden-era curbs on the export of advanced AI chips, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Commerce said Wednesday.

The Biden AI rule is "overly complex, overly bureacratic," and will be replaced, the spokesperson said.
