Comedian Chris Rock said "no one would care" about UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's alleged killer, Luigi Mangione, if he looked like actor Jonah Hill.
"We got Luigi … you know. And that's good. I really feel sorry for the family. I mean, everybody is fixated on how good this guy looks," Rock said during his "Saturday Night Live" monologue. "If he looked like Jonah Hill no one would care. They'd already given him the chair already. He'd be dead, OK?"
Rock still noted that Mangione allegedly "killed a man" who had a family and kids.
"I have condolences … I have real condolences for the healthcare CEO. This is a real person, you know?" Rock said. "But you also got to go, You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot. I mean, you've seen 'The Wire,' right?"
Hill, star of "21 Jump Street," previously called out people for commenting on his physical appearance.
"I know you mean well but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body," he wrote to his followers on Instagram in 2021, according to Men's Health. "Good or bad I want to politely let you know it's not helpful and doesn't feel good. Much respect."
In an interview with GQ, Hill opened up about being body-shamed and scrutinized by the media.
"I was an insecure, overweight kid, which in both of those communities is like having a scarlet letter on you. You are a target for abuse," he said at the time.
Hill also spoke out after tabloid news sites published photos of him surfing in a wetsuit and drying without a top on.
"I don't think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid-30s, even in front of family and friends," he said. "Probably would have happened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren't exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers."
