President Donald Trump brushed off Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's demand that Trump release his recent MRI results, telling reporters Sunday night aboard Air Force One that the scan was "absolutely perfect."
Pressed on what the MRI examined, Trump offered no specifics.
"I have no idea. It was just an MRI," he said, according to White House audio released on X.
"It wasn't the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it. I got a perfect mark, which you would be incapable of doing."
Trump compared it to the "perfect" phone call that led to his first impeachment.
The exchange came after Trump spent days attacking Walz — at one point calling him "retarded" — as the Democrat intensified questions about Trump's health and transparency.
Trump doubled down on the rhetoric on Walz.
"Yeah, there's something wrong with Walz," Trump said.
Trump also told reporters he would release the MRI "if you want," but gave no indication he plans to do so imminently.
