Pentagon Employing Tech Info Center

The Pentagon said Monday that the under secretary for research and engineering has directed a reduction in personnel within the defense technology information center.

The move will save taxpayers more than $25 million and 40 "mission-essential personnel" will be retained, the Pentagon said in a statement. It did not elaborate on the reduction.
