Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to speak to President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, his office said, following his country's strikes on Iran.

Netanyahu has already spoken to Germany, India and France's leaders, his office said.

"The leaders showed understanding toward Israel's need to defend itself against the Iranian annihilation threat," Netanyahu's office said in a statement.
