Russia's Lavrov to Hold Talks With Indian Foreign Minister Next Week

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Aug. 21, a spokesman for Lavrov's ministry said on Wednesday.

Moscow and New Delhi have talked up their "strategic partnership" since President Donald Trump earlier this month announced higher tariffs on imports from India because of its purchases of Russian oil.
