Russia fired an Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile at Ukrainian forces who had previously used a HIMARS missile system to attack Russia's Kursk region, the Russian defense ministry was quoted by RIA as saying on Monday.

Kursk region governor Alexander Khinshtein said on Sunday that three people were injured in a Ukrainian missile strike on a hotel building in the town of Rylsk.
