All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
―George Orwell, Animal Farm
Apparently in Canada, ostriches are less equal.
On Friday Nov. 7, in British Columbia, Canada, after the Canadian Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal and all offers to take the birds from high profile American animal advocates were denied, the slaughter commenced.
Over 330 ostriches with no signs of H5N1 bird flu were shot dead by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) professional shooters who needed hours to fatally wound the birds in a kill zone constructed of hay bale walls.
The overreaction and denial of due process, all due to 69 of the birds contracting H5N1 and dying as a result.
The farm owners attempted to demonstrate that the remaining flock was healthy.
American animal advocates, Secretary of Health and Human Services, RFK, Jr. and American business leader, John Catsimatidis offered to import the birds to the United States citing the value in studying the birds for immunity to the virus.
The Canadian authorities had zero interest in any path other than a high profile, massacre. The shooting went on for hours.
Inhumane.
Zero due process.
No interest in learning more about H5N1.
The heavy hand of the increasingly Marxist Canadian government which one could argue started in 2020 with stripping away gun rights, rolling into the 2022 de-banking of truckers protesting vaccine mandates, forced migration, censorship and now demonstrating that the state can act brutally in sending a chilling message as it wishes.
So many confuse socialism with outright communism. Socialism is what the Canadians used to do.
The government taxes you to the point of complete financial depletion while providing "free stuff" at the lowest performance standards possible.
A common Canadian example would be "Yes you need back surgery, but we can't do it until 2028."
The cutover to Marxism is what we are witnessing now. Bank of England darling and World Economic Forum (WEF) high priest, Mark Carney is far more serious than predecessor Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
What better way than to teach the serf citizens a lesson than the ostrich ranch?
After all he gets a Josef "Stalinesque" trifecta.
He has taught Canadians a lesson that property rights mean nothing, farming is the enemy of climate change, and no one had better dare champion the state in the courts.
Perhaps this is key reason why the Trump administration has yet to conclude any trade deal with our northern neighbor. Even China reached an agreement before the bird killers.
The world is a mess.
Why wouldn't once passive and friendly Canada go full on George Orwell?
After all, across the west, from Brisbane to London to Ottawa, western values are in full retreat. Unchecked illegal migration, rollup of civil rights, confiscation of property and corruption are just the wave tops of globalist elites on the march.
Do you think we are immune here in Trump’s America?
Then maybe you haven't heard of Zohran Mamdani.
For those of you who haven't, trust this writer, you will soon enough, and for all the wrong reasons.
By now, many Americans understand the UN and WEF thirst for control.
They are serious about "You will own nothing and be happy," 15-minute cities, digital ID, CBDC and on and on.
The City of London, wealth-fueled families in the shadows, seek the total control of free peoples. Mark Carney (middle management) in this arrangement is but a star pupil among the climate cultists who want you eating bugs if you’re not depopulated.
Check out Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program if you are still skeptical.
President Trump and team may not be perfect, but can you imagine where we would be if Comrade Kamala took the role of American sock puppet, alongside all the other western leaders?
President Trump is not alone.
There is a growing list of leaders signing up to defend freedom with him.
Heads of state in Argentina, San Salvador, Japan, Poland, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, and Slovakia, to name a few, are pushing back with their people behind them in this 2025 version of freedom's fight.
The U.K., Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Romania, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and certainly, Canada are the most alarming examples of President Ronald Reagan's warning that "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."
Questions we must now ask if this is the state of western values:
- Why are we in the UN?
- Why are we in NATO?
- Who do we consider a friend and foe?
In Trump's America, we have the legacy of illegal invaders like the rest of the west.
Islamic extremism, terror cells and adversarial state actors dot our landscape like the others.
The difference is that President Trump is pushing back hard with deportations and action against ANTIFA actors where the new marxists turn on their own people and culture.
The real puppet masters in the shadows show their colors every day with events like the great ostrich massacre.
This is what Marxism vs. Freedom looks like in 2025.
