We're not ready. We're not even close.
In a world where technology evolves at exponential pace and every discipline is likely weaponized, we are nakedly vulnerable.
We are already fighting the most lethal war in human history — a seamless fusion of algorithms, proxies, economic strangulation, and engineered societal collapse that needs no declaration, no battlefields, and no survivors if we keep pretending it's just "great-power competition."
Fifth Generation Warfare (5GW) essentially means everything's on the table.
Color revolutions, deep state operations, assassinations, bribery, extortion, blackmail, rigged elections, bioweapons, deep fakes, lawfare, "bankster" theft, cyber and the old kinetics like bombs and bullets by state and non-state actors are all on the menu.
In this world, it's rare that you get a clear view of your actual enemy, and if you only gather your information from the six corporations and five families controlling 90% of the media, you have zero chance of ever understanding who the foe is, in a war which began long ago.
Hint: It's the globalists and we're not talking middle managers like the creepy villains taking shots on social media.
The real shadowy overlords represent the wealthiest families in the world.
This is the class which authors the playbooks handed out to the UN, WEF, CCP, Cartels, PE bosses. You didn't think spooky Klaus Schwab came up with the Great Reset or that Al Gore really cares about the climate, did you?

These global hooligans who want depopulation and all your stuff were doing swimmingly well. After all, since 1913, after creating central banking and the progressive income tax system, the liberty destroying, war-inducing, currency debasers who established the IMF, World Bank, United Nations (UN), World Economic Forum (WEF), "Too-Big-To-Fail" Banks and now Public Private partnerships which create NGOs (non-governmental organizations) which use our own money, have consistently out-maneuvered We the People.
Until the arrival of President Donald John Trump.
These debt-based thieves who destroyed American manufacturing and jobs were stunned in 2016 when the first American President since 1913 to not pay homage to the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) rode down the escalator and into the White House, bringing millions of awakening angry Americans with him.
The overlords went into overdrive since then and continue to this day to attack Trump with hoaxes, impeachments, lawfare, cabinet infiltrators, fake news, assassination attempts etc., etc.
While this Fifth Generation Warfare plays on, the so-called elites who genuflect at the WEF, have been successful in resurrecting the Cold War that President George HW Bush promised we had won and with "Skull and Crossbones" pride, welcomed in a New World Order (NWO).
With wars and the attempted sparking of wars globally, the old, aligned world enemies with nukes and dreams of nukes have reappeared. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and maybe, their buddies in the BRICS+ scheme have returned to play cat-and-mouse games with submarines, air space incursions, nuclear weapons tests, proxy wars, and of course everyone’s favorite, spies.
Ian Fleming and Tom Clancy must be laughing from their graves and asking for typewriters. If you don’t know what a Fleming, Clancy or typewriter are, you're way behind.
President Trump and his more reliable lieutenants are working to defend us from 5GW+Cold War 2.0 in both foreign and domestic spheres.
While they go about this, fighting the media, “Uniparty,” Article II judges and even Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., (sheesh!), the combination of these two threat worlds could lead us to a very bad place as a species.
Generational blindness is a thing.
Our Millennials, Gen Zs, and Gen As, understand 5GW instinctually because they have been raised in this soup; but toss them a copy of John le Carré’s "Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy" and they yawn.
On the flipside, the gray bearded Boomer and Gen X Cold Warrior's who were taught that a school desk might save you in an air raid, are not entirely accepting the plausibility that a cyber unit afloat might create a flash crash in the silver markets during a liquidity crisis.
We need to rethink security and its practitioners.
Our government and its decision/budget cycles are woefully too slow to meet the 5GW challenge. We think weapons and war strategy comes from the War Department.
Nope.
We have to have a whole of government, team trained in 5GW and how to integrate and orchestrate war plans. This team must recruit some wise Cold Warriors out of mothballs.
We need agility, innovation, risk taking, strategy and sound principles of discerning an adversary's strategic intent.
This new terrain is the most dangerous yet.
