In the 1994 film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Jim Carrey’s character was hired by the Miami Dolphins to find a missing dolphin. The climax of the film is when he discovers that the leading suspect Ray Finkle has disguised himself as Police Lieutenant Lois Einhorn.
“That's it!" Ace Ventura said. "Einhorn is Finkle! Finkle is Einhorn!”
When former Vice President Dick Cheney, and his daughter former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, it became obvious that most of the Republican Party’s establishment is the Democratic Party’s establishment. The Democratic Party’s establishment is the Republican Party’s establishment.
I think Donald Trump won the election in part because most Americans realized that the greatest threat to our liberties today is the fascism from our bipartisan elite.
Since 9/11, this bipartisan elite has agreed on many policies, which have made the emergence of fascism more likely: permanent wars, weakening civil liberties, colluding with social media companies to suppress information, engaging in cancel culture, expanding welfare dependency, and inflation.
Fascism will only come to this country when the most powerful representatives of both Big Government and Big Business combine their efforts. In the 2024 campaign, most of the wealthiest and most powerful Americans supported the Harris campaign.
From January 2023 to October 2024, the Biden campaign, and later the Harris campaign, raised nearly $1 billion. The Trump campaign raised only 388 million dollars in the same period.
When you combine the wokeness of millions of people, they can certainly bring about a Rainbow Fascism unless enough patriotic Americans stop them. Rainbow Fascism is when progressives use fascist tactics in the name of fighting fascism.
It’s not enough to win an election. As President Ronald Reagan’s Director of Personnel Scott Faulkner once wrote:
“The Reagan Revolution happened by design, not by chance. It happened because legions of loyalists came to Washington to make a difference. The question of who among the current Republican presidential field can deliver real results beyond Election Day rests upon the willingness of each candidate to plan ahead for the critical task of transition.”
In the first term, President Trump filled his administration with many people who represented permanent Washington. This time, it is imperative that he fills his administration, and the congressional leadership, with the right people.
The first battle in Congress will likely happen this week in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. One of the leading contenders to be the next chairman is Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C.
Wilson has over 20 years of Congressional experience and a long history of working with Trump. In January 2023, Wilson joined Trump’s campaign in South Carolina when many Republicans didn’t think he could win.
He serves on both the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Armed Services Committee. At Foreign Affairs, he is also the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
This combination of committee assignments has the potential to substantially advance our national interests. For example, Wilson authored the U.S.-Israel Future of Warfare Act.
This law established a fund for both countries to work together on developing technology to tackle emerging threats.
“It is critical that we collaborate and develop joint defense technologies to ensure we are on the cutting edge of research and development," Wilson said recently.
With the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, we need more members of Congress who served in our military. Joe Wilson served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 28 years and three years in the South Carolina National Guard.
This week, I spoke with Congressman Wilson’s friend Ed McMullen, who was Ambassador of the United States to Switzerland and Liechtenstein (2017-2021). McMullen told me about how the Trump administration worked with the Swiss government to negotiate the release of two American hostages (Xiyue Wang and Michael White) being held in Iran.
McMullen said that Wilson, and other members of Congress, played an important role in providing the right amount of pressure to release these hostages.
Xiuye Wang was held in captivity for three years. When Ambassador McMullen greeted Wang in Switzerland, President Trump insisted that McMullen give Wang an American flag.
Wang burst into tears.
When I heard this story, it reminded me of how my parents escaped communism. They always taught me to appreciate the freedom in this country.
The American people have given President Trump another chance because they are against the recent failures of both parties. These disasters (Iraq, Afghanistan, the 2008 financial crisis, and COVID) have expanded government power and reduced our freedom.
The Republicans cannot let the American people down. They need to use their mandate to reverse this damage and preserve our freedom.
